Beautiful as you put words to what I feel in my heart. This is a God given experience and some of the world just don't get it. I get it, God is there. God loves us and Susan's beauty if undescribable. God is teaching us thru Susan's courage, and thru his acceptance and love for us. Can we recognize true beauty?

Thank you for submitting this video, Dr. Licker (Carl), very timely for my Sunday meditation. God has been extremely gracious for sharing with us Susan and her angelic voice. An inspired sermon from Pastor Warren, including forgiving those who bully and attack us rudely and discourteously. To many of us, Susan symbolizes hope in so many ways, and a precious gift only God is capable of bestowing. Thinking peace. God bless.

May 29, 2009: Susan today is the big day! Take a deep breathe and show all the world what you are capable of. You are a wonderful lady and as I said before. The inner beauty is way more important than the looks. Think of your Dear Mom; she will help you. Good luck and stay strong! God bless you and yours.

Well now, any place that has the word Saddleback in it kinda
gets this ol' cowhands attention! Yep. Must be a mighty fine church too, judgin' by Pastor Rick Warren's words here. What I don't understand is how I missed this post before. I've been in this Susan Boyle fan site outfit for quite a few days now and I'm just now comin' across this...
First off I agree with everything Pastor Warren says...
It don't take a rocket scientist to understand that there was
somethin' about all this that went far beyond an ordinary event. Susan has touched the world through her performance.
And, I believe as the Pastor believes and as the Rabbi believes
in another video on this site that this event has the fingerprints of God all over it. There is no question that Susans voice is the voice of an Angel. In one seven minute performance she touched the souls of millions of people...and that circle is growing wider by the day! There is no question that there are lessons to be learned here. Susan did indeed rock that audience...and she has also rocked the world! None of us have ever witnessed anything like this before...
Now, let me say that I have sat around the campfire on many
big, beautiful starlit nights in my lifetime. And, to me, all
ya have to do is look up to know that there is a God. I sure
don't believe this whole thing was an accident. No, again, it
don't take a rocket scientist to know that there is something
greater than you and I at work in all this. I believe the Pastor and the Rabbi both have shared lessons here...lessons
that, once again, have God's fingerprints all over them...
There are always going to be those who are blind to the
wonders of faith. Beleiving is kinda tough for some people.
Reckon it has somethin' to do with the way they were brought up
and the way they choose to live their lives. Life is made up
of choices. As for this ol' cowhand...reckon I'll ride with the Pastor and the Rabbi...what they have said about this Susan Boyle experience makes an awful lotta sense me. And a special word of thanks to Dr. Licker for postin' Pastor Warren's message here. I enjoyed every second of that 15 minute and 39 second message! Thanks again. Adios for now. Talk to ya on down the trail. Wild Ol' Dan

I do enjoy looking at this sermon. Impressive. I have the feeling that I could have done with this sort of quality as a child instead of the nonsense I heard. Lucky people to have such a priest! Susan is inded special.

I believe as Pastor Warren, Susan sings from the heart and from her faith. She inspires each and everyone who heard it to be a better person. She begrudges no one and she has forgiven all who tormented her as a child. As a mother of a child who suffered from learning disabilities only knows too well the anquish people caused her. My son too has risen above those people,as well, succeeding now to graduate from college and he is also a remarkable forgiving person like Susan. To show you what a big heart she has she recently commented to the Press that she would like the public to forgive the young lady in the 1:24 portion of her video with the famous eye roll. Apparently this teen has been punished and mocked by her classmates and peers. Susan said, "my god, she is only a teen ager". We all have a lesson to learn in forgiveness as by example of Ms. Boyle.
