How many people in this world have looked in the mirror and said "Gah, I need (inert appearance change here)!" Kudos to her for doing something for herself, and making herself happy. Do I think her life is going to change? Yes. Does her appearance change mean she's gone "Hollywood"? I don't think so. Susan, if you ever read this, congrats on the performance, and enjoy yourself. And thank you for having the courage to stand up on a national stage as you are, and belting out one of the best renditions I have ever heard.

Susan hasn't done any makeover. She is a normal woman like us to hv hair cut & dyeing, trimming eyebrows, buying some fancy dresses & that's all. U do what u like & happy with because u r the only Susan Boyle in this world!

I agree it's a subtle change and who ever changed their personality by having their hair dyed, or their eyebrows plucked? Susan has said herself that she wanted to improve her looks, that's up to her to decide, not Amanda, and certainly not any of us. We need to stop nitpicking and instead focus on her musical ability. With a voice like that, Susan is going to forever be a star.

i think this is the perfect makeover. subtle not over the top. her voice hasn't changed neither has her down to earth persona. Hooray for Susan dolled up a bit. she deserves it. it's time to have some "me time" for a change. after many years of taking care of her mother and neglecting herself. LOVE YOU SUSAN!

I find it ironic that Amanda Holden - who it appears to me, cares quite a bit about her own looks and I'm sure has changed it often - should want to make such a comment. We've all experienced that look in the mirror and "Oh- it's gotten away from me a bit". All the laughter and commentary, at her expense, has to hurt. I say good for Susan. She'll feel more confident and comfortable. We love her!!!

Susan you look great and hurray for you to have the courage to do what you want to do. You did such a great job singing why not treat yourself to a new do and some clothes if you can.I can't sing anywhere near your voice,(I lip sinc so as not to throw people off key)LOL and I enjoy teating myself to a new do so I can't see what all the hulabaloo is about because your sincerity comes through your uplifting laugh and your voice, Enjoy it my dear and May God Bless Score 10

Small changes to help bolster her confidence. What a great idea! Susan is still the same women inside. Her subtle makeover certainly won't change my opinion of her.

Isn't it natural for a woman "any woman" to want to look her best??? after all how many of us have looked in the mirror and gone oh! my! God! I look shocking...and then gone insane until we've managed to change what ever we think is wrong about our looks...Susans no different
to any other woman I'm sure!!!
Who do these people think they are trying to impose on Susan what they think she should look like...I think Susan's old enough to decide for herself...
I really don't think the changes she has made makes any difference to any of her fans...WE LOVE YOU SUSAN

Whatever makes her happy is quite alright with me. It will not change the voice and who are we to say, nay.
