World exclusive video of Susan performing at family party.

A forgotten video unearthed by the Mirror shows sensation Susan Boyle has long been amazing audiences with her voice.

Shot during parents Patrick and Bridget’s golden wedding party 23 years ago, the footage reveals Susan belting out the Jesus Christ Superstar hit I Don’t Know How To Love Him.

The room falls silent as the 25-year-old’s voice soars into the rafters of the Welcome pub in her home town of Blackburn, West Lothian.

Big brother Gerry said last night: “It was a very emotional night. It goes quiet when Susan sings, it always does. She always has that effect.

“The week before she went on Britain’s Got Talent she sang Ave Maria at my mother-in-law’s funeral and stunned the church.”

And snaps of her as a child show her love for music started early, as she sits at a piano as a cheerful youngster.

Lovely to see Susan's surprised reaction to her glorious performance. We love her in Kentucky and can't wait to get her recordings and perhaps attend a performance. Love Susan!

It is nice to hear her younger voice. I really like her better now but she obviously was born with talent.

Where did this video get posted first? I first found it on Twitter, then it showed up on this site in the 'top spot', next DrLicker put it on here again, then I saw it in a Google alert, and finally, in YouTube! I only hope it was actually one of Susan's family members who did put the video out for mass consumption and that Susan approves, since it's footage of a private family party. I, too, am happy I got to see it but I did wonder about that. Susan sounds wonderful--and so young here!
